The Smith Shoutout is a unisex lifestyle sunglasses combining a classic square frame silhouette with Smith's modern performance technology. The frame is constructed from Evolve — Smith's bio-based polymer incorporating 53% renewable plant-derived content — which is lightweight and durable for daily casual and active use. ChromaPop polycarbonate lenses filter two specific wavelengths of light that cause color confusion in the eye, improving color definition, contrast, and clarity across all lighting conditions. Lens options include ChromaPop polarized (in black, brown, blue mirror, bronze mirror, gray-green, opal mirror, and violet mirror) and non-polarized ChromaPop configurations, as well as ChromaPop Glass polarized options in select colorways. All lens options include smudge and moisture-resistant coatings, a vacuum-applied anti-reflective coating on the lens interior to reduce side-light reflections, and hydroleophobic coating to repel water, oil, and grime. Frame measurements are 57mm (lens width) x 45mm (lens height) x 18mm (bridge) x 140mm (temple length). The Shoutout is designed for everyday casual use, active outdoor days, cycling, and beach and water environments. The 6-base lens curvature gives the frame a modest forward-facing angle suited to direct sun exposure. Megol hydrophilic rubber nose pads increase grip as the wearer perspires, keeping the frame stable through active use. AutoLock hinges hold the frame open for one-handed on and off.
